I pointed it directly at the setting sun and it showed N. I pointed it the direction I was going while driving, I was going North , and it showed south. Piece of garbage.

I love the newer digital display. So far its more accurate than the old version.

Ok so you want to know what navigational direction you are moving towards. This app tells you very big and bright. Lets say you are lost could use this to get home maybe. I am moving North! Ciao!

The large display is nice. You dont think about the need for a compass until youre on a rural road or are in an unfamiliar area, and you need to be sure that youre headed in the right direction before you go miles out of you way.

Love the large letters and for me so far it has worked perfectly. As for the ads on the bottom, I have to admit, I had to reopen the app to check it out as I hadnt noticed them before - they are not obtrusive to the app. I love this app!

When traveling I often have no clue what direction Im heading since many rental cars dont have a compass. Also being unfamiliar with the area Im visiting, landmarks arent always available, this App is a handy tool!

Dont bother, unless you want random compass readings that would, if followed, lead you astray.

The compass works very well except as a sailor I would like to have an additional display page which would show the heading in large numbers, which can be viewed in portrait or with even bigger numbers in landscape mode. Also dampen the sensitivity to motion to give the avg reading of 2 secs. And, have the compass heading not be sensity to the angle of the display, when the display is held vertically. I would then put the iPhone in a water proof case, mounted vertically so I can look at it quickly and get a number. A nice inexpensive alternative to the stand alone digital compasses now offered.

However, it doesnt work. At all. I know where North is from where I am right now. And this app tells me that direction is North, Northwest, Northeast, East, and South. How the planet has aligned itself lately to be all directions at once is beyond me, but it appears it has according to this app. I have tried rotating the device, angling it differently, changing between True and Magnetic North and everything else I can do. Alas, it appears that the sun will continue to now rise in the South and set in the East if this app is to be believed. I am very disappointed in this app and am planning to remove it and find a working one. Would not recommend.

Like others, I know where North is from my house and this shows complete opposite. North is south, east as west. Waisted my time with this one.

I liked it okay but it doesnt remember "Preferences". Had to set Meters to Feet every time I used the App.

It requires my geoposition in background. I can not see the reason to allow work this app in background.

I just want an app like the Compass app on my iPhone. This isnt it. I have no idea how this app got so highly rate. I think it is terrible. Waste of time and money.

This is a nice app but the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. But for getting E and W wrong, it works nicely.
